Sejarah dan Evolusi "Sang legenda" Honda Cb dari masa ke masa

Apa itu Honda CB?
Motor Tua itu kini tengah naik daun. Disamping harganya yang murah juga enak buat dimodifikasi karena bisa dicangkokan komponen mesin generasi HONDA semisal GL 100, GL PRO, TIGER juga bisa mencaplok komponen motor lain semisan SHOCK Depan RX-KING dll.

Dipenghujung tahun 2000 an motor ini cuma dihargai sekitar 300 Ribuan , lalu naik menjadi 700 ribuan , 2 tahun yang lalu masih sekitar 1 jutaan dan ditahun ini harganya melejit lagi sekita 1,8 jutaan. Fantastik…. itu semua berkat ulah para modifikator yang menjadikan motor CB ini sebagai BASIS MOTOR MODIFIKASI. Tapi untuk modifikasi SPEED alias LARI atau untuk TRAIL CC yang kecil tidak mumpuni maka harus di BORE UP dengan menggunakan SEHER TIGER. Biaya yang dikeluarkanpun jadi membengkak. Saran untuk yang mau modif CB lebih baik ambil basis yang 1 atau 2 Tingkat diatasnya semisal GL 100 , atan GL PRO lebih enak dimodifnya karena mesin nya lebih gampang dan MURAH dimodifikasi

Kebijakan Pemerintah?
Kebijakan pemerintah dalam hal lokalisasi komponen otomotif mendorong PT Federal Motor memproduksi berbagai komponen sepeda motor di dalam negeri melalui beberapa anak perusahaan, diantaranya; PT Honda Federal (1974) memproduksi komponen-komponen dasar sepeda motor Honda seperti rangka, roda, knalpot dsb. PT Showa Manufacturing Indonesia (1979) khusus memproduksi peredam kejut PT Honda Astra Engine Manufacturing (1984) memproduksi mesin sepeda motor PT Federal Izumi Manufacturing (1990) khusus memproduksi piston Pada tahun 2000 PT Federal Motor dan anak-anak perusahaan di-merger menjadi satu dengan nama PT Astra Honda Motor, dengan komposisi saham 50% PT Astra International Tbk dan 50% Honda Motor Co. Japan.

Saat ini AHM memiliki 3 fasilitas pabrik perakitan ; Pabrik pertama berlokasi Sunter, Jakarta Utara yang berfungsi sebagai kantor pusat. Pabrik kedua berlokasi di Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading. Pabrik ketiga sekaligus pabrik paling mutakhir berlokasi di kawasan MM 2100 Cikarang Barat, Bekasi. Pabrik ini merupakan fasilitas pabrik perakitan terbaru yang mulai beroperasi sejak tahun 2005. Pada tahun 2007, AHM menempati ranking pertama penjualan sepeda motor di Indonesia dan tingkat ASEAN dengan produksi ke-20 jutanya. Pada tingkat dunia, AHM menempati ranking 3 setelah pabrik sepeda motor Honda di Cina dan India.

HONDA BENLY CB92 SUPER SPORTS 1959
The first sports model to bear the CB name. This high-performance version of the C90 participated in the 2nd All-Japan Motorcycle Clubman Race held at Mt. Asama.

HONDA SUPER SPORTS CB95 1959
The CB95 was a larger displacement version of the original CB92. Together with the CB92 and CR71, these machines formed Honda's super sport trio. They dominated the 2nd Mt. Asama and the 3rd Utsunomiya Clubman race in the 200cc class.

HONDA DREAM CB72 SUPER SPORTS 1960

The D stands for Desert Scrambler. This machine made for export to the U.S.A., featured left and right upswept exhausts and a teardrop tank. The foundation for the CL450 and CB450K1, various parts were available for sale in kits and otherwise.

HONDA DREAM CB250 1968
A new kind of sports bike designed for the booming markets of the seventies, the CB250 pumped out a screaming 30PS from its OHC twin engine mounted in an all new frame. Two versions were produced: a CB72 style and a two-tone export version.

Sekarang di Indonesia lagi trennya motor CC nanggung alias 250cc tapi jaman dulu Honda udah punya tapi bukan versi sportnya,hmmm kebayang dong 250cc bisa lari 160kpj, kaya apa itu, belum lagi tanpa fairing.

Bayangin 125cc bisa lari sampai 130kpj, kalah motor-motor jaman sekarang,kenapa bisa gitu ya? mungkin motor jaman sekarang banyak fitur elektroniknya jadi agak berat, engga seperti jaman dulu yang cuma mengandalkan platina..hmmm salut buat Sochiro Honda.

HONDA CB1100 2013
The 90cc CB sports bike. Its newly designed OHC engine delivered high-revving high-performance. Mated to a 5-speed transmission and mounted in a diamond-configuration steel-tube frame, it offered sporty riding characteristics.

Ini dia nih legenda motor CB yang ada di Indonesia, Honda CB90 tahun 1970. Sebenernya cuma beda nama, kalau untuk pasar Amerika dan Eropa mereka disebut CB90 tapi di Indonesia atau mungkin kawasan Asia banyak yang mengenal dengan sebutan CB100, terus apa bedanya sama gelatik ?? sama aja hanya masalah dipenyebutan.
